Dr Juliet Nyasulu: Health system-strengthening expert with over 25 years’ experience working the African health systems including in South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique and sub-Saharan Africa. She has a PHD in Public health with focus on health systems strengthening through quality assurance. In Malawi between 1995-2006 she worked for the Ministry of Health, OXFAM GB and GOAL Ireland. Currently Dr Nyasulu is with Faculty of health Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. She also collaborates in research and lectures at the Malawi College of Medicine Department of Health Systems and Policy. In RSA, she facilitated the establishment of the South African Coalition for Women, Adolescents and Child Health (SACSOWCH) was the first co-Chair in 2015. In South Africa, she serves as a National Certification Committee (NCC) Chair overseeing the polio eradication efforts for the country.

Dr. Pahurat has been a dedicated professional in the Department of Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health in Thailand since 1993. Initially focused on public health preparedness and response within the Bureau of General Communicable Diseases, she earned her Ph.D. in Medical and Public Health Social Sciences in 2011. In 2013, she transitioned to the Bureau of Risk Communication, specializing in crisis risk communication for public health emergencies, including the Emergency Operations Center. Dr. Pahurat has developed numerous training programs, procedures, and guidelines addressing significant health threats such as MERS, SARS, avian influenza, Zika virus, Ebola, and COVID-19.
She is currently evaluating her concepts on event-based risk communication and its integration with health literacy. Now serving as the Director of the Secretariat Office of the Royal Development Projects Committee, Dr. Pahurat oversees initiatives related to diseases such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis, particularly in rural and prison health contexts. In addition to her administrative role, she is a visiting professor at Mahidol University and Thammasat University. She collaborates with institutions in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam, as well as international organizations like WHO and ASEP. Her expertise in crisis risk communication significantly contributes to public health efforts at national, regional, and global levels.

Dr. Sonali Shrikant Wagle, have completed her Masters in Health Science from University of Pune in 2009 and completed her PhD in 2029. Currently she is working as a Research Scientist at HCJMRI, Pune with Dr. Anuradha Khadilkar. Here she is working with children and youth with T1D and measuring their cognitive function and mental health. Previously she has worked with Dr. C.S.Yajnik at KEM Hospital as a Research Associate in offspring of mothers with diabetes in pregnancy and its determinants.
