The Success Story of the 8th International Conference on Public Health 2022 (ICOPH 2022)

The 8th International Conference on Public Health 2022 (ICOPH 2022) was held from 28th – 29th of July in Virtual Platform under the theme “Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on Public Health, Economy and The Government Sector: Tackling the Present and Shaping the Future.” ICOPH 2022 is hosted by the International Association on Public Health (IAPH) and University of Brawijaya, Indonesia. The Conference is organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) in collaboration with Krida Wacana Christian University, Indonesia, University of Chile, Chile, the Udayana University, Indonesia, and Millennium Nucleus Imhay, Chile as Academic Partners of the Conference.

ICOPH 2022 was a platform designed with the purpose of empowering global public health professionals to collaborate, innovate and help to shape the future of global public health. The conference united diverse researches and case studies from all over the world, in parallel sessions while offering many networking and publishing opportunities The Conference was consist of 200+ Participants from 37 Countries across the globe.

INAUGURATION CEREMONY AND KEYNOTE SPEECH

The opening remarks of ICOPH 2022 were made by Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Co-Founder & Managing Director – The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka) and the Conference Co-Chairs, Prof. Dr. Hematram Yadav (Sr. Public Health Specialist, Malaysia) and Dr. Alene H. Gelbard (Founder and Principal, ACCESS Partnerships, Adjunct Professor of Social Enterprise, American University, United States delivered the welcome address with the Conference Advisor Dr. Raman Preet (Global Health and Epidemiology Unit, Umea University, Sweden). Representing hosting partner universities, Representative from the University of Brawijaya, Indonesia addressed the gathering. Representing Academic and Strategic Partners, University of Brawijaya, Indonesia, The Udayana University, Indonesia, and ECRI, Asia Pacific Region addressed the gathering. The keynote speaker was Mr. Prasad Liyanage from National Institute of Health Sciences Kalutara, Sri Lanka and the plenary speaker was Mr. Eric Woo, Regional Director of ECRI Asia Pacific Regional Office from Malaysia.
